Cloud Backup

Our cloud backup platform uses block-level incremental technology to minimise bandwidth and storage costs. Your data is replicated across two data centres in your chosen region for geographic redundancy. All backups are encrypted with AES-256 before leaving your network using your unique customer encryption key. We operate a zero-knowledge model: we cannot read your data.

Automated backup schedules run without any user interaction. The lightweight agent consumes minimal CPU and RAM, and bandwidth throttling ensures backup jobs never impact business-critical applications. A mobile app and web portal give you full visibility of backup status from anywhere.

Disaster Recovery as a Service

When your primary environment fails — through hardware fault, ransomware, fire, flood, or human error — DRaaS spins up a complete replica of your infrastructure in our cloud within the hour. We operate dedicated DR infrastructure in Tier 3+ data centres, physically separated from our backup platform.

Every DRaaS customer receives quarterly automated failover tests, documented runbooks updated at each test, and a financial SLA guarantee. Our Platinum tier reduces RTO to 15 minutes and RPO to 5 minutes — suitable for financial services, healthcare, and other time-critical operations. Supports BS ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management) documentation requirements.

Microsoft 365 Backup

Microsoft's Shared Responsibility Model is clear: they protect the infrastructure, you are responsible for your data. Microsoft 365 has a maximum 93-day recycle bin — with no protection against malicious deletion, ransomware, or accidental overwrites by administrators. It is not a substitute for backup.

Datashield takes three daily snapshots of your entire Microsoft 365 tenant and retains them for up to 10 years. Restore individual emails, entire mailboxes, SharePoint sites, OneDrive folders, or Teams conversations — with point-in-time granularity. Volume pricing from 100 users.

Datashield Endpoint protects Windows and macOS laptops and desktops with continuous background backup — no user interaction required.

The agent runs silently, pausing automatically on metered connections or when battery is low. Centralised management via our admin console means IT teams can deploy, monitor and recover devices across the entire fleet without leaving their desk. Deploy via Group Policy, Intune, JAMF, or manual installer.

Managed Backup Service

Free your IT team from backup babysitting. Our UK-based Network Operations Centre monitors, manages and tests your backup environment around the clock, 365 days per year. Every backup job is checked after completion. Failures are investigated and remediated — often before you're even aware an issue exists.

Beyond day-to-day monitoring, the Managed Backup Service includes quarterly documented restore tests (actual files recovered and verified), an annual DR exercise, and monthly reports in both executive-summary and technical-detail formats. On Enterprise plans, a dedicated account manager attends your quarterly review meeting.
